Life sketch, 1818-1846.

This autobiographical sketch, in typed transcript, covers the early life of George Christian Riser in Germany, his immigration to the United States with his parents. He jointed the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, settling in Nauvoo, Ill. The account ends abruptly in the winter of 1846 at Council Bluffs, Iowa.
